From April 11 to 13, 2018, the 18th China International Dyestuff Industry, Organic Pigments, and Textile Chemicals Exhibition, along with the Shanghai International Digital Textile Printing and Dyeing & Finishing Automation Technology Exhibition, were grandly held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center.

With the theme of "Technological Innovation, Green Development," the exhibition spanned a total area of 40,000 square meters, bringing together 630 leading industry enterprises from 17 countries and regions.

This exhibition was jointly sponsored by the China Dyestuff Industry Association, the China Printing and Dyeing Industry Association, and the Shanghai Sub-Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and organized by Shanghai International Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. As one of the most influential events in the global dye and chemical industry, the exhibition attracted numerous industry giants, including internationally renowned companies such as Huntsman, EPSON, and Honghua210.

At the exhibition, the high integration of technology, fashion, and environmental sustainability emerged as the dominant theme. Driven by factors such as the new economic normalcy, Internet Plus, and intelligent manufacturing, automation, digitization, and informatization technologies in the textile printing and dyeing industry have seen widespread adoption and application.

Digital textile printing technology is increasingly meeting people's dual demands for color and functionality, becoming a new highlight and growth driver in the textile industry.

On-site exhibition data indicated that after several consecutive years of destocking, the textile industry has shown a clear rebound trend. From January to November 2017, dyeing and finishing enterprises above designated size achieved a total profit of 18.644 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 9.76%.
